Sure, I can go outside and be social, but it can be pretty exhausting. Shallow conversations and the need for attention drain my battery.

I’d rather stay home with my dog and have a few friends over. We can chat about anything from deep topics to recent events to silly jokes.

Even when I’m alone, I still talk to myself and make jokes. I’ve learned to enjoy my own company. When you feel comfortable being yourself, you don’t need others to like you as much.

So you may still see me out from time to time, but you’ll usually find me here — at home.
